SpecWatch

ABOUT

Product content quality, as a practice.

SpecWatch exists because of an observation its founder kept running into: the quality of a product detail matters long after the product leaves the factory. A load rating on a product page, a datasheet link, a price or an availability note — each one travels outward to customers, distributors, and procurement teams, and each one can quietly go stale.

SpecWatch turns that problem into a daily practice. It continuously checks the public product pages, catalogs, and datasheets you point it at, and surfaces broken links, specification changes (dimensions, ratings, materials), price or availability moves, and details that fall out of sync across channels — with word-level diffs so a person can review what actually moved. Every morning, the findings arrive as a focused report instead of a pile of noise.

Who builds it

SpecWatch is built and operated by Ahmed Metered. It is a deliberately small product: no agency layer, no data selling, no ad tech — the privacy policy is one page and means it. The service runs on Microsoft Azure in the EU, payments are processed by Stripe, and transactional email goes out through SendGrid.

Who it is for

Product, procurement, and supply chain teams at manufacturers and distributors — automotive, electronics, industrial components, appliances, and anything else sold against a specification. If your customers make decisions based on public pages you control (or should be controlling), SpecWatch keeps those pages honest.
